| Meet of Champions is an All-Star Swim Meet that brings together the top summer league swimmers representing 50+ teams and 10+ leagues from the greater Sacramento Valley Area. It is a great showcase event for our swimmers, and we would like to see more Rio Rapids swimmers there this year! MOC will be held in Woodland, CA on August 1-2. | As of last week's Davis Tri-Meet, Rio has 56 MOC-Qualified Swimmers, and another 41 swimmers who are close to qualifying! (click on the headline to see a complete list) This is a testament to everyone's hard work, both swimmers and coaches, while still having fun as a team! We hope to see even more swimmers qualify in the upcoming month, as there are still two more dual-meets plus the Championships for swimmers to improve their times. All swimmers interested in the MOC are encouraged to speak with Coach Richard immediately. More qualifying details will be posted outside the lobby and can also be found in the Team Binder by the Family Files. Important: Swimming practices will resume for the MOC swimmers starting the Thursday after Championships (Thurs, 7/23) from 11am-1pm daily until MOC on August 1-2. |
